MAKE THE BEST OF EDUCATION

The project team based in Kurgan-Tube suboffice organized an open meeting, bringing together vast numbers of ethnic Koreans from Rumi, Shahrituz and Boktar Districts and Kurgan-Tube City, who wanted to discuss the progress of the dormitory construction and how to make their slogan “Make the best of education”, a reality. The great hope of mothers and fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers and other relatives and friends is that it will offer high standard services and give the ethnic Koreans and other monitories access to better education.

Viktor Tsoi, the Head of the ethnic Korean minotiry society of Khatlon Region, said: “We were pleased to meet representatives of the Embassy of South Korea in Tajikistan and Save the Children Korea. We were able to attract them to the idea of building a dormitory in Kurgan-Tube City and learning the Korean language, both from a culture and a lingistuc point of view”.
