Women speak out on work, family and their integral roles in their communities

Thursday 6 March 2014

The women’s lives of Hamid Barotov Village, Abdi Vaisov Jamoat, Vose District, are filled with work and family. But now these women from “Madina”, “Lola”, “Savlatbi”, “Gulchahon”, “Ittifoq” and “Parastu” groups  have an added dimension to their lives. They want to play an integral role in community betterment, from opening a sewing project to building a fitness club for their children.

These women are also determined to start such entrepreneurial activities on the right foot. Zuhro Murodova, Women’s Wealth and Influence Project Manager, offered that project staff will help initiate entrepreneurial activities, including, but not limited to, legal support from the local government.
