MHM Project organized series of training courses in 10 schools of Kyrgyzstan

Save the Children International organized and conducted series of training courses on sanitation and hygiene topics for the teachers in five project targeted schools in Chui and Ysyk-Ata districts of Chui oblast and in five schools of Aravan and Alai districts of Osh oblast.

The project staff trained teachers, health workers and parents of students on how to develop the small community project proposals that will help to solve the problems with the shortage of portable water, poor sanitation and hygiene conditions in schools.

In addition, Save the Children International repaired the latrines in eight targeted schools, and in two others built new ones.
