Hygiene for Schools

“Girls Wellbeing and gender equality programming in Kyrgyz Republic” Project conducted a training sessions in schools of the Chui and Osh oblasts. Participants learned how to develop project proposals, and studied modern methods of improving the quality of sanitation and hygiene in educational institutions.

Training sessions were held in November and December of this year. Participants were the members of initiative groups: school principals, teachers, representatives of the school parliament and the parents' committee.

Emergency Transportation Funds

On October 23, in Dushanbe Save the Children organized a workshop with participants of the Mother and Child Health project.

The meeting took place in the conference hall of the Serena Hotel. It was participated by medical staff and rural activists of the Varzob district, as well as the cities of Vahdat and Tursunzade.

In September, Save the Children International has delivered new medical and non-medical equipment to 20 Primary health care centers of Varzob and Vahdat districts, Tajikistan.

Integrated management of Childhood illness
