EXCHANGE VISITS STRENGTHEN WOMEN’S VOICES AND CAPACITIES

On June 12 & 13, 2014, women from 17 different districts of Tajikistan met at an exchange visit for participants in the DFID-funded Women’s Wealth and Influence (WW&I) project. Women travelled to Tursunzoda and Shakhrinav Districts from Vakhsh, Jomi, Qumsangir, Khuroson, Rumi, Jilikul, Panj, Khovaling, Temurmalik, Baljuvon, Shuroobod, Hamadoni, Vose, Dangara, Turzonzoda, Rudaki and Shakrinav Districts.

Visitors and government representatives from across the Khatlon Region arrived at Kizil Namuna Village, Navobod Jamoat of Rumi District, to experience one day of potato activity, taste potato dishes and receive generous village hospitality.
